O estudo objetivou descrever e discutir a vivência das mulheres vítimas atendidas no Juizado de Violência Doméstica e Familiar Contra a Mulher da Comarca de Teresina-PI. Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva, com abordagem qualitativa, que utilizou o método Narrativas de Vida e a análise dos dados do tipo temática. Contou com a participação de cinco mulheres. A técnica empregada foi a entrevista em profundidade. A partir dos relatos, constatou-se que a violência doméstica, familiar e institucional deixou traços deletérios nas trajetórias de vida das mulheres e influenciou suas ações de início, continuidade e permanência nas relações conjugais violentas.

Title: Women in violent marital relationships

The study aims to describe and discuss the experience of women victims attending the Juvenile Court of Domestic and Family Violence against Women of the District of Teresina, PI. This is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach, which used the Narratives of Life method and the data analysis being the thematic type. With the participation of five women. The technique used was the in-depth interview. From the reports, it was noticed the domestic, family and institutional violence left harmful traits in the life course of women and influenced their early actions, continuity and permanence in violent marital relationships.
