Notes on the Russian Revolution and the reflections of Gramsci

O objetivo deste artigo é mostrar que o grande marco do século XX foi a Revolução de Outubro de 1917, que deu outro significado para a história mundial, a partir das grandes conquistas sociais das classes trabalhadoras incentivadas pela Revolução Russa. Outubro de 1917 mostrou a possibilidade de uma nova ordem social e política bem como mudou radicalmente a correlação de forças vigente até então. Antonio Gramsci, militante político em plena efervescência do movimento operário italiano, analisou a Revolução Russa para dela tirar o incentivo para a organização dos trabalhadores na Itália. Retomamos seus escritos entre 1917 e 1919, a fim de refletir sobre sua leitura da revolução.

Title: Notes on the Russian Revolution and the reflections of Gramsci

The aim of this article is to show that the great landmark of the twentieth century was the October Revolution of 1917, that gave another meaning to world history, from the great social achievements of the working classes encouraged by the Russian Revolution. October 1917 showed the possibility of a new social and political order and radically changed the correlation of forces prevailing until then. Antonio Gramsci, political activist in full swing of the Italian workers’ movement, analyzed the Russian Revolution to draw the incentive for the workers’ organization in Italy. We resume his writings between 1917 and 1919, in order to reflect on his reading of the revolution.
