Challenges of the concretization of the Principle of Integral Protection to adolescents in conflict with the law today

O artigo analisa as principais normas protetivas existentes no Brasil direcionadas aos adolescentes em conflito com a Lei, desde a etapa penal indiferenciada até a proteção integral, correlacionando com as políticas públicas existentes. Trata-se de uma análise teórica alicerçada pelo resultado da pesquisa de mestrado realizada com jovens em cumprimento de medida socioeducativa na cidade de Jequié-BA. Este artigo tem sua relevância no contexto atual, visto que as políticas sociais que poderiam resguardar os direitos desses adolescentes estão sofrendo com os desmontes dos governos neoliberais atuais, demonstrando a fragilidade do sistema de acompanhamento das medidas socioeducativas em meio aberto.

Title: Challenges of the concretization of the Principle of Integral Protection to adolescents in conflict with the law today

The article analyzes the main protective rules in Brazil directed at adolescents in conflict with the Law, from the undifferentiated criminal phase to full protection, correlating with existing public policies. This is a theoretical analysis based on the results of the master's research conducted with young people in compliance with socio-educational measures in the city of Jequié-BA. This article has its relevance in the current context, since the social policies that could safeguard the rights of these adolescents are suffering from the dismantling of current neoliberal governments, demonstrating the fragility of the monitoring system of social and educational measures in the open environment.
