Sexile, alterity and recognition: A theoretical analyses about the refugee of LGBTs

Refugiados emigram forçadamente de seu país de origem para se proteger diante do medo e perseguição. Para muitos refugiados LGBT, a perseguição deve-se à reprodução de orientações sexuais e identidades de gênero fora dos padrões sociais. Contudo, mesmo no Estado de destino, ainda se encontram sucetíveis a antigas e novas formas de opressão, também pelo status de imigrantes. Nesse sentido, o trabalho procura destacar a situação de dupla alteridade e marginalidade social vivida pelos refugiados LGBT. O artigo terá como metodologia a discussão de bibliografia pertinente à migração internacional de sujeitos queer e proposições sobre a condição de exílio territorial./SPAN>

Title: Sexile, alterity and recognition: A theoretical analyses about the refugee of LGBTs

Refugees emigrate from their origin country to protect themselves from fear and persecution. For many LGBT refugees, persecution is due to the reproduction of sexual orientations and gender identities outside social standards. However, even in the State of destination, they are still susceptible to old and new forms of oppression, also by immigrant status. In this sense, this work seeks to highlight the situation of dual alterity and social marginality experienced by LGBT refugees. The article will have as methodology the discussion of bibliography pertinent to the international migration of queer subjects and propositions about the condition of territorial exile.
