O presente artigo parte de sistematização preliminar de estudos em curso com objetivo de verificar como tem se concretizado o acesso às políticas de Seguridade Social pelos imigrantes na Região Metropolitana de Londrina/PR. Os procedimentos metodológicos pautaram-se na abordagem qualitativa, com utilização de recursos quantitativos. Os dados foram coletados por meio de um formulário, aplicado a 97 imigrantes residentes nos municípios com maior presença desses na região: Arapongas, Cambé, Jaguapitã, Londrina e Rolândia. Essa aproximação demonstrou que há diferentes barreiras para que os imigrantes acessem as políticas sociais às quais têm direito, com destaque a prevalência da barreira informacional./SPAN>

Title: immigrants and their “Accesses” to Social Security Policies: reflections about the Metropolitan Region of Londrina /PR

The present article starts with a preliminary systematization of ongoing studies with the objective of verifying how access to social security policies by immigrants in the Metropolitan Region of Londrina/PR has materialized. The methodological procedures were based on the qualitative approach, using quantitative resources. The data were collected through a form, applied to 97 immigrants residing in the municipalities with the greatest presence in the region: Arapongas, Cambé, Jaguapitã, Londrina and Rolândia. This approach has demonstrated that there are different barriers for immigrants to access the social policies to which they are entitled, especially the prevalence of the information barrier.
