O presente estudo tem como objetivo apresentar uma análise das famílias do DEGASE, com uma breve abordagem do cenário institucional. Traz o recorte teórico adotado na pesquisa desenvolvida no ano de 2017, referente ao Movimento de Mães que se organizaram ao longo das duas últimas décadas, a partir da dor, do sofrimento de terem seus filhos acusados de autores de atos infracionais e que enfrentam a dura realidade das instituições fechadas. Famílias que fazem parte de uma parcela da população que vivencia a desigualdade econômica e social, possuindo gênero, raça, cor e com um acesso restrito às políticas públicas./SPAN>

Title: The Mothers Movement of DEGASE - struggle and pain

The present study aims to present an analysis of the families of DEGASE, with a brief approach to the institutional setting. It brings the theoretical cut adopted in the research developed in the year 2017, referring to the Mothers Movement that have organized over the last two decades, from the pain, the suffering of having their children accused of authors of infractions and facing the tough reality of closed institutions. Families that are part of a portion of the population that experiences economic and social inequality, possessing gender, race, color and have restricted access to public policies.
